Tips and Tricks
This beautiful picture was submitted by Carol Carpenter with the following tip! She stated that after the show where she entered 22 some plants she disbudded them to ready them for the next show. This is also a good practice in case they "caught" anything like thrips during transport or while at the show as thrips thrive on eating the blossoms and spreading pollen. Without a food source they expire. Anyway, to enjoy the blossoms she came up with this great idea and made a beautiful flower arrangement including two large white gardenia blossoms surrounded with all kinds of her beautiful "disbudded" violet blooms! Thank you for this wonderful idea Carol! Now maybe more of us will disbud like we are supposed to!!
